Build strength safely at your own pace with today’s Seated Strength Training workout. Lynette continues our resistance band series with controlled movements designed to improve strength, stability, and confidence. Lynette begins with a gentle seated (or standing) cardio and mobility warm-up to prepare muscles and joints for movement. Then she builds on last week’s session with more resisted strength exercises using a stretch band. No band? No problem. Lynette explains how hand weights or household items can easily be substituted so everyone can participate. Today’s workout moves at a slower, more controlled pace, performing 10 reps per exercise, allowing you to focus on form, breathing, and safe strength development. Remember — you control your workout. One of the advantages of resistance bands is that you gain even more control simply by adjusting your grip position to increase or decrease resistance. ✅ Upper-body strength ✅ Lower-body strength ✅ Core stability ✅ Functional strength for everyday living Finish feeling stronger, more mobile, and accomplished. ✔ Sturdy chair ✔ Stretch band (or weights/household substitutes) ✔ Water nearby 🌐 Subscribe at www.workingonwellnessfoundation.org to gain access to: • Live On Zoom classes — Exercise, Brain Health, and Community • ALL YouTube videos (now 800+ classes) • Our new online community discussion page ❤️ FREE thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Hannah & Frank Grossman Charitable Trust.
