Join Lynette for a Seated Strength Training workout designed to build strength, stability, and confidence — all from the safety of a chair. As always, the session begins with gentle cardio and mobility exercises to warm up the body and prepare muscles and joints for movement. Today’s main workout features 18 strength exercises performed in 45-second intervals with 15 seconds of rest, helping you work at a steady, manageable pace: ✅ First half: alternating lower-body and core strengthening exercises ✅ Second half: alternating upper-body and core exercises ✅ Finish with a relaxing stretching cool-down to restore flexibility and leave you feeling refreshed This class supports functional strength for everyday activities while offering options so you can move safely at your own level. Do only what you can do safely. Modify movements, range of motion, resistance, or pace as needed. A sturdy four-legged chair, hand weights (or household items) and water are recommended. 💻 Learn more about our free programs: www.workingonwellnessfoundation.org ❤️ Always FREE thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Hannah & Frank Charitable Trust. #workingonwellnessfoundation #FreeExercise #SeatedStrengthTraining #ChairWorkout #SeatedExercise #SeniorFitness #AdaptiveFitness #StrongerTogether #ExerciseForAll #FunctionalFitness #MobilityMatters 00:00 Introduction and cardio/mobility warm-up 13:03 Main strength training workout 35:14 Stretching cool-down
