How often do we think about our planet? It seems that we are living our lives in such a way that the environmental issues are only part of a different reality that does not fit our daily needs and actions. Humans are the masters of the planet, and they act like that place will be there forever, provide resources every single time it is asked for it, and keep the connection between all the elements on it just because. So, when it comes to realizing the actual situation, why are humans ignoring everything around them? Is it that difficult to admit that the Earth is not part of our daily thoughts and routines? Mr. Paul García analyzes the behavior of two generations that are growing, thinking, and worrying about matters that are not that relevant for environmental solutions. Mr. Paul, as he is called by his dear students, is deeply interested in everything related to sustainability and nature protection. His lessons are a vivid reflection of independent thinking and empathy for our environment. He was very happy when he got the opportunity to be part of TEDx Countdown this year! This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
