In a rapidly urbanizing world, cities rule policies toward sustainability and social well-being. But what does it mean for a city to be smart? Are we all ready for the tokenization of commodities? Are we all ready for public Blockchain networks properly fueled to enhance transactions, payment or mobility solutions across cities? Are we all ready for tokens to manage "interoperability" within multimodal shared mobility services? Are we all ready for self-driving cars? Are retailers ready for global digital shoppers? This TEDtalk digs into current debates about urbanism through topics such as big data, design, urban sustainability, and mobility.
