Gina nació en Perú en el distrito de Vitarte. Vino a la Argentina hace 22 años y desde entonces vive en Tigre. Tiene 3 hijas. Hace 12 años fundó junto a un grupo de amigos del barrio, “Latinoamericana de Tigre” (LADETI) una organización encabezada por migrantes que le brinda ayuda a toda la comunidad. Participa constantemente de debates y charlas que giran en torno a la temática de migrantes.
