This video looks at the proposal of a group of students in Quito – Ecuador, where they explore how the right to the city and the rights of nature, both enshrined in the Ecuadorian Constitution, can be used as a powerful framework to think about more socially and environmentally just neighbourhoods. The ravine ecosystems in Quito are part of its southern neighbourhoods and reflect how cities are actually urban natures where human and non-human beings inhabit.
