This lab researches the possibilities of generating new strategies against infections based on the disruption of some bacterial platforms. Daniel López moved his lab to the CNB-CSIC in 2015 from being a Junior Investigator Group Leader granted by the Research Centre for Infectious Diseases (ZINF) at the University of Würzburg (Germany), where he directed his lab independently since 2011. Before joining the ZINF, he was a postgraduate student at the Department of Microbiology and Immunobiology at Harvard University (USA) since 2005, after graduating at the University of Murcia (Spain). He has recently won the XIII Banco Sabadell Foundation Award for Biomedical Research (2018). This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
