Predicting the when and where of natural disasters will save the lives of thousands of people in the future, especially in the most vulnerable communities. In recent years, many advances are coming towards this goal thanks to new data and a better understanding of these phenomena Nahúm Méndez Chazarra was born in Rojales (Alicante) in December 1983. He is a popular scientist, especially on issues related to planetary geology. He currently collaborates with the University of Arizona's HiTranslate project, which aims to bring planetary geology closer to the general public. He also writes in Naukas and Principia and collaborates in the podcast of Geocastaway and in the science section of Cadena Ser Elche's Mondays This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
