Draw Tip Tuesdays - Why Fewer Art Supplies Make You More Creative

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! Do you ever feel overwhelmed by all your art supplies? Sometimes, having too many choices can actually slow you down. In this Draw Tip Tuesday, I challenge you to limit your tools and see how freeing it can be! I’m using just three simple drawing tools: a Stabilo Woody 3-in-1 (water-soluble black pencil), a BIC pink children's colored pencil, and a Caran d’Ache Luminance turquoise colored pencil With fewer tools, you focus more on shapes, composition, and creative decision-making. Plus it makes sketching on location so much easier! In today's video I draw a person inside an interior, from a reference photo and share tips for making the most of a minimal set of tools. Materials used: - Handbook Journal, size A5 - Stabilo Woody 3 in 1 watersoluble pencil (black) - Bic kids colored Pencil, pink - Caran d’Ache Luminance colored pencils, Chrysocolla Blue - Pentel Aquash waterbrush - Reference photo by May Gauthier - Unsplash.com Your assignment this week: Grab your sketchbook and a maximum of three tools—mix textures, colors, and just draw!
