Draw Tip Tuesdays - Drawing on a Watercolor Background

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! Today we are painting a watercolor wash, to draw on top once it's dried. Making a watercolor background can help to get over the fear of the blank page. You can do a bunch of washes on random pages in your sketchbook, to surprise or challenge yourself. I'll be doing a wash using a flat brush, but you can use any kind of brush, as long as it's not too small, so you can cover a lot of ground. Then I'll draw on top of it, and talk you through the drawing process. Wouldn't you love to draw a bridge like this - but IN PARIS?
