Draw Tip Tuesdays - Draw Tip tuesday: Fake It to Make It

welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! Alphabet letter stamps are fun, and they’re easy to find online. Let’s play with these stamps today! Don’t you love those cool hand lettering signs that you see pop up on whiteboards in cafes and on cool instagram feeds for example? What if you don’t have much knowledge about Typography or you think your handwriting isn’t so pretty? Well, simply fake it! Stamp your text using alphabet letter stamps or a letter template. Then trace the letters and color them. hah, you faked it - this totally looks like you drew these letters! Now bring something more to this piece. Add lines at the right hand side and bottom of the letters to create sort of a shadow effect. And add some extra decoration with lines, arrows or curls. And whether you feel confident about your handwriting or not, write something in there too, so you’ll make it personal. All done! See? you can make awesome art!
