Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!
When drawing in my sketchbook, I often tend to start with line, and maybe later I add color. But with some subjects, it can be a bit daunting to start with line. Think about complicated shapes like a chair, your hand, or a plant with a lot of leaves. It might actually make more sense to start with the color. Today, we start with paint, and then draw.
Main message: keep it loose and don’t worry. You got this. Use your paint generously and keep it playful.
