Draw Tip Tuesdays - A Surprising Artistic Transformation: Sketchbook Tour

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! Today, I flip through a sketchbook of which I hoped it would be love at first sketch... but it wasn't. However, because I wasn't too thrilled about like this sketchbook (for reasons I'll explain in the video), it unexpectedly sparked my creativity. This sketchbook became a creative playground! I wasn't precious about its pages, so I felt a lot of freedom to experiment and play. And to "get it over with", I filled it faster than ever. It reminds me of a running race I once joined, many years ago. I'll tell you the story while I flip through the pages. This is NOT a review for the sketchbook I am showing you. Whether a sketchbook is "good" or not, is depending on the preferences of the artist working in it! It simply turned out to be not the best match for me, but I wouldn't have wanted to miss what happened. If you've ever felt uninspired and in need of a creative kickstart, then maybe grab that sketchbook off the shelf, that one you did a few drawings in, and then abandoned it because you "just weren't feeling it". You'll have so much fun not caring and discovering all sorts of approaches and techniques to fill its pages. Make that ordinary sketchbook into an catalyst for your creativity. And then once you filled it, award yourself by starting a new yummy sketchbook.
