Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! In this video I turn a simple lunch break into a quick, creative art session. I draw my sandwich before taking a bite, and then keep eating and sketching. Making one quick drawing of the sandwich with every bite. Watching the process, you can see how I decide which details to simplify or exaggerate. How I keep it loose so the sketch feels lively. And to keep a pace, because I also want to keep eating! I add color to the drawing, and along the way, I share how I think about composition. Where to place the subject, how to balance empty space, and if you can lead the viewer's eye. Doing a drawing like this is a perfect example how to stack habits: combining drawing with everyday moments. That makes it easier to keep a regular sketching practice.
