Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! In this video I'm turning around my usual process, and putting color down first before adding any line work. It's a simple shift that makes a huge difference in how loose and playful your sketches feel. I walk you through painting quick watercolor blobs as your base, then adding just enough line on top to tell the story, without outlining, without fiddling, and with way more personality than you'd expect from something this fast. Then I give you an assignment to try it yourself! Materials I used: - Hahnemühle watercolor sketchbook - Daniel Smith Watercolors - Pentel Aquash water brush (broad nib) - Derwent Inktense colored pencil ....
