Draw Tip Tuesdays - Stress-Free Sketching

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! Today is all about making drawing a priority. Even when you only have a few minutes. In this video, I start my day with loose, intuitive drawing as a mindful meditation, before even looking at emails or notifications. You see the full process as I paint simple shapes first, then add line and contrast with watersoluble colored pencils. I show how I keep colors from bleeding, and why I like to leave a little “air” between shapes. I also demonstrate how you can finish a sketch with an extra punch of color, a frame, and some writing for a personal touch. All while embracing imperfections.
