Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!
Drawing buildings can be quite a challenge. It might even hold you back from going on location to do some urban sketching.
Whenever I don't know how or where to get started to capture a subject, I use a continuous line. It distracts you from the details, because you need to focus on 'knitting everything together using one line, without lifting your pen. That way it becomes kind of a game you play in your sketchbook.
It's a lot of fun and the result will always be playful.
