Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!
When you are drawing from observation, and you are trying to draw what you KNOW, instead of drawing what you see, things can get really confusing. So what you can train yourself to do is not to label the things you’re drawing. Everything you draw, is just shapes. So whether it’s a chair or a plant or someones face… you just need to really look, to see. And then draw what you see - trusting your eyes.
My trick to overcome all sorts of things going on in your mind when drawing, is to use a continuous line.
Let's explore it.
