Draw Tip Tuesdays - A sketchbook Challenge - Part 2: Dip Pen + Ink

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! In today's video, I'm continuing my exciting drawing challenge—repeatedly drawing the same subject every week. Instead of finding a new subject, we're switching up the tools, and trust me, it never gets boring, because every tool brings a new perspective! Today I explore using a dip pen and ink (with a Zebra G nib and India Ink by Dr. P. H. Martin), a completely different experience from last week's tool. By drawing the same subject repeatedly, you’ll start to notice things you hadn’t before—whether it’s the details, your evolving technique, or how different materials inspire your way of working. With every new tool, your subject feels as new again, and you can discover new ways to express yourself! The fun of using a dip pen: its unpredictable, expressive lines and how to embrace "happy accidents". You can explore hatching and cross-hatching techniques for adding depth and texture. *Bonus tip*: Since India ink is waterproof, try adding watercolors or other wet media for pops of color, which again will bring a whole new dimension to your drawing! **Challenge for this week:** Take your subject from last week, choose a new tool, and draw.
