Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! Let’s do a fun exercise that will help develop your eye-hand coordination. You can use any kind of paper, and any kind of pen for this, but I choose to use a few different colors - this Bic pen has 4 different colors that I will use. What you’ll also need, is a mirror. Hold up the mirror in front of you, so you can see your whole face. There are two rules: 1. Look at your face all the time, not at your paper! 2. Don’t lift your pen off the paper until you’re done drawing. Take a good look at what you see. Choose a starting point, from where you will trace the shapes of your face with your eyes. Then, put your pen on the paper and start tracing the tracks your eyes follow. Don’t think about the end result of this exercise - that’s not what it’s about. It’s about connecting what you see to what you draw. Just keep breathing and follow your eyes with your pen lines. This can be a quick warm-up exercise, and I like doing a few in a row, using several colors to create a fun page of funny faces. Well, you get the idea, so I’ll speed up the video for the rest of the page. Why don’t you go and try this? It’s simple and it’s fun! Thank you for watching this video! Would you like to learn more?
