Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! Here is my sketchbook tour from my recent Spain trip. I filled this A4 Hahnemühle Nostalgie sketchbook mostly in Barcelona and the Costa Brava while teaching with The Blue Walk. So many memories, experiments and playful pages. Sketchbooks make travel feel deeper and more fun. They help me stay curious and keep things light. In this video I flip through the sketchbook, I talk about sketchbooks as travel companions, trying new color ideas, drawing people fast with simple gesture, using the blob technique and spiral technique, meeting other artists along the way, and how you can draw something anywhere - you just need to get started.
