Draw Tip Tuesdays - Drawing on Location With No Plan

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! At the beginning of the year I took an 8-week visual storytelling course with Rita Sabler, and today I'm sharing the sketchbook I filled along the way, plus the final project. I based my story at the central train station in Amersfoort, the city I live in. It started as a visit with no clear direction but I trusted that stories unfold organically when you draw on location. And that's exactly what happened here. The project pushed me out of my comfort zone and made me feel I expanded my skills and confidence in the end. Creativity is not linear, and this project is proof of that. Unexpected moments, happy accidents, a bit of discomfort and a time limit all played a role in getting to the finish line.
