Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! Ever feel stuck when you open your sketchbook and see a blank page? In this video I share a simple way to get moving without overthinking, using color as a starting point. You might like working on a prepared page, it helps loosen up, and makes it easier to just start drawing. Let's set up a quick wash and then draw something simple from your own surroundings, keeping things playful and relaxed. This approach is not about finding the perfect subject or making a perfect drawing. It is about warming up, trusting your creativity, and enjoying the process. Materials used in this video: - Sketchbook by Pink Pig - Daniel Smith watercolors - Big flat brush - Uniball Rollerball Eye pen, broad nib If you feel like drawing but do not know where to begin, this is an easy way in. In last week's Sketchbook tour, you can see quite some pages with prepared washes: https://youtu.be/Z-v7f497L-0 Thanks for watching and have fun in your sketchbook! ....
