Draw Tip Tuesdays - No Idea What to Draw? Try This

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! Feeling uninspired? Stuck staring at a blank page? Try this simple trick: draw your keys. Remember that drawing is about having fun. Lower the pressure. Loosen up. And turn even the most ordinary object into an interesting sketchbook page. Break the "curse of the blank page" by adding quick marks first. Then use negative space to draw a bunch of keys in a playful way. The shift from “what is it?” to “what shape do I see?” can change everything. It helps you start faster, see better, and enjoy the process more. I’m working with a watersoluble crayon and a waterbrush for this exercise. While I draw, I've got some handy tricks for layering, lifting color, and keeping things fresh and lively. Plus I share a whole list of simple prompts in the video.
