Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! Today, let me take you on a relaxing drawing session in the park, inspired by the serenity of dark water with water lilies floating on it. In this video, I walk you through my creative process—from choosing a simple, minimal toolkit to focusing on contrast and color to make the water lily petals stand out. I'll explore the shapes, textures, and colors that capture my attention, and I'll show you how to be bold and use contrast to add depth and interest to your artwork. This drawing session was like a meditation, and I am glad I filmed it. Hopefully it brings some calm and joy to your day. If you’re looking for a creative assignment this week, why not take a short walk, find a quiet spot, and draw what inspires you? Remember, it’s not about perfection; it’s about enjoying the process.
