Remember the Draw Tip Tuesday Video with the contour drawing of an interior? When you do this in your sketchbook, wouldn’t it be fun to add a bit of extra context and information?
The corner I drew is part of my studio, and drawing a map shows where in my studio this is, and what else is there.
The great thing of making a floor plan is that you don’t need to think about perspective. Everything is straight fro above so you can just use squares and shapes for all items in the room.
It’s up to you how much detail you want to add. And how much imagination you need for it.
