Remember how last week we drew a still life? We’re doing it again, taking a different approach: drawing the negative spaces.
Negative space is the space that surrounds an object in an image. Just as important as that object itself, negative space helps to define the boundaries of positive space.
In negative space drawing, instead of observing the positive shape of an object, you draw the shape of the space around the object.
