Draw Tip Tuesdays - Draw Tip Tuesday - Personalized Birthday Card

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! I hardly had any time to make this week’s Draw Tip Tuesday, but since it’s my birthday today, I thought I’d do a real quick one! We’re gonna need watercolors, a brush and water. Later on, we’ll use a waterproof fine liner. Pick up some water and then pick up your paint - get enough pigment on your brush to get bright colors. Paint rough strokes in a repeating pattern. I choose one color, but you can use a different color for each pattern, or choose two or three colors and repeat those. Then, let it dry (use a hair dryer if you’re impatient like me). With the waterproof fine liner, draw birthday candles on top of your pattern. Then, fill your shapes with fun patterns - try to come up with a different pattern for each candle - just for the fun of it. You can fill the whole page doing this - actually it could be a great pattern to paint on a large piece of paper when you ran out of wrapping paper or make a personalized card.
