Draw Tip Tuesdays - Sketchbook Challenge - Part 3: Paint & Line

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! In this video, I'll share a fun and colorful way to approach drawing a still life - one that you've already drawn before. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this playful method will help you let go of perfection and embrace the wonkiness in your sketchbook. In today’s sketchbook session, I'll start by laying down bold colors with watercolor. I'll show you how I use a simple blob shape to create a dynamic, colorful still life by combining watercolors and colored pencils. This technique, inspired by my friend Sabine Wisman, is perfect for loosening up and experimenting with color and shape. Remember, your sketchbook is your creative playground! Materials: - Stilman & Birn Beta Series sketchbook - Watercolors (Daniel Smith) - Flat brush (da Vinci, 30) - Caran d'Ache Luminance colored pencil I'll also give you a few handy tips for color contrast and composition to make your artwork pop. so-called "mistakes"?
