Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! Drawing on location is about play, process, and trust. In this Draw Tip Tuesday, I’m taking you sketching on location with just a few simple tools. I’ll show you how limiting your materials can make drawing more fun, how to keep your sketch loose and alive, and how to trust your inner artist. You’ll see how I start with messy marks, build up layers with color, and then add pen lines when the page is ready for them. I share pro tips for drawing in public, for staying mindful of your stuff when you’re outside sketching, and for letting go of perfection. At the end, I give you a simple assignment you can try right away! If you’d like to draw together in real life, check out my upcoming workshops. Now is the time to plan your creative trip!
