What's going on guys? Mark and Williams. Welcome back to my channel, get online certification courses. Here I'm going to jump right into it.

I'm pretty sure you guys was hearing it on the news, on the radio, and so forth, by the second wave coming back through to hit us again for the October November and so forth. So my question is, which I was asking a few people, do their company have anything in place in regards to the second crisis that's coming around? And they said, no, they have not implemented. It's so forth.

So my question out there, the corporate America, or you lock down ready. And by it's meaning locked down ready, do you have a remote work process in order? Scope of work, somewhere hitting in a binder or folder, somewhere saved on a server, somewhere, yes, remote. Yes, it's coming back around.

So you have to understand that has something to be in place. Are you going to be out of business? It's that simple. And guess who's here to actually help you?

So what I need your management to actually do is lay down your management skills and start picking up some leadership skills, which I'm also going to help you with that as well. So let's keep going. You have to understand some of the things that you have to have in place is first off the technology. Do you have everything up and running?

Do you have the software? Do they know how to use the software? IT plays a crucial role when you get this remote work back up and running again. Like I said, you can do remote work, fire drills.

Do drills. Is that simple? Three to five days off. Do it once a month, run it through, get the kinks out and so forth.

You be fully prepared for this remote work life. If the second wave does come back around and when it comes to management, well, now currently leaders right about now, all right? You guys need to go ahead and compile the list, a hit list if you will in regards to your employees. The ones that could weather out the storm with you or the ones that's going to give you too much grief to stay on board and you know what you got to do as a leader, right?

And as you being the newfound leader, you have to understand you're going to have to have that flexibility to communication in order to lead the team, the organization or individuals in the right direction. So enough about looking at me right about now. Let's start this tutorial. So we left off that management picking up on leadership skills when the crisis occur.

And that means taking on additional functions of a job, being in on more serious decision making with the higher ups when it comes to keeping up production or running the business productive. With this, you may have to communicate across few departments. So communication is very important, especially when it comes to delegation across multiple departments. You may want to take some notes and when it comes to reskilling and upskilling, your employees as well to make sure they are on top of par, especially when it comes across training.

Once again, back to the remote work drills, three to five days, maybe once a month is perfect to work out any kinks that may be in a way. If you have to go live and the reason behind this is when the smoke had clear the first time around, all of this remote hoopla disappeared like it never happened. Remote collaboration take place when a group of people work together from a distance to achieve a common goal. In order to achieve a successful workplace truly depends on whether or not employees can perform well as a team.

In order to keep their team on the same page at all times, collaboration tools are needed when working remotely, such as having a video conference app set up such as Zoom, Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Team Chat Apps such as Microsoft Teams. According to the Gallup State of the American Workplace Report, remote workers are more engaged by 32% than office workers at 28%. When either or starts to lag, everyone in organization starts to suffer. By reinforcing and encouraging more communication remote work and as a start, truthfully, not all can do remote work.

Some employees need more guidance than others. So you have to keep that in mind also when making that hit list I talked about in the beginning. Keep meetings to a minimum. But while they are making sure you ask questions in the ballpark of, what can we do to make your job more efficient?

How do you feel about work like balance right now? Is there anything we didn't cover that you would like to discuss? Most importantly, believe it or not, some companies still haven't quote on on this work like balance. The most trending topic since the crisis of remote work surface prior to all this, most companies were like work, work, work to take a day off, to take someone to the doctor's appointment was mind boggling to the management.

Sad but true, currently, family is at the forefront when it comes to employment. So former management that stepped up to be new leaders, you'll have to have empathy when it comes to true life, work life balance, in which I will have all these courses down below as well. So before I sign off, here are eight tips for keeping your very best employees as well. Pay above average salaries, allow employees to speak their minds, show appreciation and respect, encourage input and feedback.

Don't micromanage, identify and invest in high performers, offer their ability to grow and provide flexibility. Many things should take a certain time to check out this quick tutorial.
