Go ahead and comment below as to what you would like to get certified in. I can personally send you a link to check out. So let's get into it. What's going on guys?

I'm back if you'd like to intro. Go ahead and comment below if I need a new, another new intro. Go ahead and comment as well either way just let me know what's going on with you guys right about now. So you know the whole leadership thing regarding managers team building, CFO CEOs and so forth the whole upper management team.

When it comes to leadership as a hit or miss a lot of managers and supervisors at so forth with tell you is trial and error. Either you go and hit it on the mark or you just learn by error you know and you know you clean it up sweep a lot of stuff up under the rug and so forth. So we're going to get into the first one which is micro managing. So the micro managing you get the upper management and stuff they're always looking over your shoulder make sure you're doing the thing right you got to do it my way or the highway scenario.

No one can do it better than the upper management. They're supervisors so forth what you doing what you doing you doing it wrong this how you do it. I just did it just like you still did it wrong type scenario. You got to understand supervisors and managers that do the micro managing they pretty much going to wear themselves out eventually and stuff and plus as upper management supervisors and managers and so forth.

They're really wasting their time. So the strategic opportunities is going elsewhere and meetings and conferences and so forth. So micro managing is just needed to let it be just let it go so you got to have faith in your team and so forth and trust them they're going to go in the right directions and hopefully they'll come to you ask you questions and you know this is right I'm doing it wrong so forth but overall micro managing pretty much is just shut the people down when it comes to productivity they may be scared to do something wrong even if they're doing it right they might be scared. It just shuts them down and productivity goes out the window so no micro managing let's get into number two.

So that right there I experienced as well if you don't have the patience to be a good listener and you don't listen to what your team is telling you you're going to end up not getting any feedback once again you're going to just get a bunch of bobbled heads saying yeah yeah whatever and keep going it's shut them down no more suggestions they no feedback or anything. When your team system provides you certain things and they give you feedback you got to implement that you got to listen to it absorb it suck it in digest it into to your understanding make sure you apply it back out so your your team understands it hey you know I asked that question I gave that suggestion and he followed back up on it is a good thing but if you're not a good listener everything shuts down along with productivity so let's get into number four not acknowledging or thanking your team your employees the hard work they do and they know it's hard and and it just you pull them to the side even if you think they know that you're doing a good job they know they're doing a good job still there's a simple little fist bump some point yeah you you know you you rock and not like this stuff give them some appraisal they boost their steam and boot productivity as well and just circle through there you know thank you thank you let them give them some appreciation to stuff that they don't even know that you knew so you paying attention to them you're giving them gratitude and everything like it's a boost is morale through the roof along with productivity so keep that in mind make sure you gratitude appraisal and so forth and if you want you go slide a little gift cards that being stingy because we know upper management got that little that little box of cash hidden somewhere up under the drawer there they're fun fun squeeze break some bread amongst your team I'm here to help you though I'm here to help you let's move on to step five step five I experienced it through other managers and so forth and I've seen it done quite a few times actually they stopped learning they stopped growing they stopped going to meetings and conferences and so forth workshops and everything because did they get stale stagnant did they lose interest in their position or once again do you think that they they know it all so they stop growing stop educating themselves about the position about the company's culture and so forth so that's another no no no no could you can be antiquated eventually over time and that's a quick timeframe with that that three to five years five to seven years if you're not further in your education in the position you're in or the field of work that you're supervising or managing it you're on gross stale so eventually three to five years down the line you're hiring someone and you talk to some antiquated push button this and that and they saying we can do it this way hell of a lot much quicker so always continuous education continuous improvement as I always mentioned before and also you could check out that Kaiser certification course that I got down at below as well which is gonna have other certification courses and leadership team building and so forth I'm gonna have them in the description below so let's go ahead and finish off these seven deadly sins and leadership so we're going to get into number six six okay let's go with number six not being candid enough which are employees and stuff being straightforward with them they appreciate their respect you more if you straightforward with them they know what they had they know what's lays ahead of them if it's gonna be layoff things are slow you're gonna sit there and say everything gonna be okay deep you know you know that there's gonna be layoffs and stuff so be straightforward with them they'll need the sugarcoating stuff have a team meet and sit them down but like look you know stuff is slowing down I'm gonna start letting some people lay off or you know just let them go all together they respect you more and plus you gotta understand these are people that has kids wives bills mortgage car notes college tuition all of that so for you to sit them down and say just what the future you know holds within this company right about now things ain't you know it's not picking up some people gonna get let go or lay it off tell them well in the van so they could prepare maybe look for another job or so forth but being straightforward with them they respect you more in the long run versus they see you sitting them down and say out of the blue you know things are slow we let you go next things are slow gotta let you off they probably like wanting to say something a month in the van so be straightforward with your team and so forth once again they'll respect you more and plus it might save a ass whooping actually truthfully so let's top it off with number seven so last but not least which I personally couldn't stand is useless meetings and we I'm not talking about a team or zoom you know get the zoom camera up and run I could still work and do my do but hey let's all gather into this conference room and talk some nonsense or just do the whole blame game and stuff and you don't get any value out of it so and they're drawn out they long and everything else and so forth and you just don't get anything out of it be personally I just have the dumb look on my face like what the hell I'm doing here so as a leader manager supervising so for the upper management go ahead make them bullet points and stuff and make valid bullet points that their team the employees and so forth are saying you know what I understand it whether I know there's an issue with this and I had deliveries um receiving okay I know there's a problem with image toy you could get a powerful 45 minutes to an hour conference meeting and everyone's on board versus some drawn out and people are foolish as to what you're talking about we never know there was a delivery problem we never knew there was an inventory problem and what are you talking about so have those meetings have those bullet points drive it home 45 minutes to an hour get about it and as 2021 you shouldn't be all huddling up in a damn conference room anyway all these cameras and zoom and team meetings and so forth if you get the whole corporation from East Coast to West Coast all of them one and why you could still do your work keeping productive high so you're going to lose the hour sitting and ranting and raven about something yet to employees don't really know about and everything as a leader get the bullet points nail it so they all be like I've been talking about that so make it clear and decisive get to the point those are the seven deadly sends leadership and also going to have some leadership courses down below as well that the upper management supervises and the rest of them from go ahead and take these courses as eye openers and stuff like say if you stagnant and you're stuck in your ways and so forth 2021 come check these fresh courses out low cost it's an eye opener a lot of things aha I can do it this way or that way um such as soft skills I never heard of soft skills before didn't actually took the damn course who would have knew so there's a lot of stuff in managerial in the corporate America and so forth simple courses at a broad you know horizon bring productivity to your team and so forth and everyone's on it up and up so go ahead and do you think many things for checking out my tutorial leave some comments below as I mentioned before in regards to which would like to get certified and I could probably send you a link to check out go ahead show some love subscribe to the channel so you won't miss out on any training courses you may want to
