What's going on? This is Mark Yimbs and welcome to my channel on live certification courses. This is a channel where you can learn a new skill set of virtual bonus old one. So let's get started. With the ever changing work trends and the employee's preference to the workforce has installed a revolving door on many companies small and large. With some management trying to hold on to the command and control approach which has been outdated for the last 20 years still is trying to make it irrelevant in this day and age. If you ever scroll through any TikTok or Instagram Reels or feeds under any educational or certification page you will hear and see videos of the backlash management get when it comes to employees leaving due to management team.
Oddly enough we're all too familiar with this. So to all the managers that are trying to figure out how to retain good employees you have come to the right tutorial. Employees retention shouldn't be the hardest feat to attempt because after all what the employee want to do is do the best job they can do get paid their work and go home. Also a lot of employees feel they need to be challenged when it comes to their scope of work.
I know there's a lot of work to rule employees out there but good luck to that mindset. As a manager supervisor you see who has potential and who doesn't. When you start to engage with your employees that want to do more you'll start seeing opportunities you could give them as your employee in a right position at their job meaning could they be more productive elsewhere. Could I employ a handle another full-time scope of work that will mesh easily into theirs?
By doing this type of reconstruction it should always come with a pay increase. You as a manager should know that you're still saving the company money by giving a respectable raise to your employee. The company is saving thousands of dollars alone in health care. If you have an onboarding committee that's another five six thousand and savings right there.
