Comment below as a virtual idea is certified in and I can send you a link personally to check out. So let's get started. For those that have been at a job for 20 plus years, had to see the shift in process, procedures, and also job requirements for certain positions. I have literally knew someone doing an accounting job with no degree and actually did an excellent job at it.

Just by being trained by the right person. So what experience did this person have? Simply just to love for numbers and understanding what the job entailed. Mind you, this is going back 20 years.

More and more companies have small and larger turning to candidates that have more years when it comes to hand-to-zone experience versus someone with a degree. Hearing New Jersey as of April 2023. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy signed a executive order on that Monday prioritizing skills and work experience over college degree requirements for certain state job opportunities. Become in the seventh US state to institute such changes.

So when it comes to education versus experience, for you hiring these days, please comment below your thoughts. Skills over education is growing norm also across the state, especially some parts of Florida and also Midwest. One of the reasons behind this is the pay scale. Some companies can save a couple bucks when it comes to skills over education practice.

Keep in mind the candidate is going to be get paid eventually, seat of $0.00 in a short period of time, but not right up front. Also when it comes to education versus experience, I'm talking about both candidates who has been in the game for five, seven years. Me personally, I will lean towards their experience candidate without the education when it comes to hiccups or roadblocks that may come up in the process. To be fair, the candidate with the education with the same works years of work may not be that resourceful and more into more protocol procedures and won't bend as much.

The benefits of experience versus education when it comes to gaining valuable work experience, this can help you impress potential employers and land a job. When it comes to real world situations, the experience candidate shows employers that they will be able to jump right in and do the job today without a lot of additional training. This is especially true that the job requires technical skills hands on experience also give you the soft skills needed to thrive in a workplace environment. In a LinkedIn post states, industries where experience matters more than education and rapidly developing field of IT experiences often prioritized above education, experiences specialist programming languages hands on experience with software development will often get you further than more education.

IT rules often involve complex problem solving and practical knowledge helps you to navigate those complexities. Also a study by Harvard Business Review found that only 29% of his IT rules posted by IBM requires a degree. Also understand that people with degrees were top pickers many years ago and still holds true today in certain positions. For keeping my candidates with hands on experience while also coming in through to do with simple online certification courses to give them that edge as well to show employers that they are taking the initiative on their own to further their education.

Also my personal opinion and from what I experience that employees with degrees sometimes refuse any other type of training that their employers offer due to the fact that they have a degree in this field of work, which in turn will reflect poorly onto themselves but not be an open to new information. I feel experienced workers are more of a go getter when it comes to their scope of work always learning the new curve on their position, always upskilling and re-skilling through companies that hold those events. As for me being an experienced worker in my field of work that obtained quite a few simple online certifications and to see what the real world hands on position entails allows me to address it through the years of experience and not for my education which are my certification. Many thanks for taking some time to check my tutorial out, all the links are in the description below.
