And I can personally turn your link this check out so let's get started. Here's a saying that goes, show me a company and I'll show you a bad manager. In my career personally, I came across a lot of different managers, the good, the bad, and the terrible. It all stems from one thing.

Most managers buy and large do not have the interest and the employee in mind. They have been programmed to put their companies in their own above all else. If you don't like it, there's the dual mentality. I remember one meeting where management showed up with a stack of resumes and applications for our department as a scare tactic.

Most managers don't understand a simple model. Success happens when those around you flourish. Personally success to me is observing the team that I work with, grow, and succeed whether or not with me or at the same company. It's personal development that I'm after.

Personal development of their employees and teams improve performance and allow them to feel incorporated into the larger goals. It brings loyalty which in today day and age is priceless. So what are these managers holding back from their employees? Let's start with number one.

You're just a warm body. Companies need employees to fill a role. This logic can't get no simpler than this when it comes to management thought process. If you're not producing, you're out.

If you're producing and they could do it cheaper, you're out. Management do not care about you personally. Business is business. Number two, negotiating your salary goes wrong.

Starting too low when negotiating your salary figuring you will catch up in through the years with raises. That is an old antiquated thought process. The starting salary you negotiate, they will lock you in. They already know what you're thinking so it may take at least three to four years to play catch up.

Often the only way to do this is to leave and find a different company in order to make that money. Number three, praises from upper management. Depending on how big your company is or where you are positioned, if upper management is impressed with the outcome of your job you performed, they may tell you boss to tell them you did a great job. And most likely that may never get to you.

I've seen so many times when higher reps would say go buy lunch for your team and they never did or an extended lunch period on a Friday. Number four, job openings in a company. If other positions open up and you could be a perfect candidate for that position, you can forget about your manager pointing you in the right direction. Especially if it means you leaving his or her department.

Just say you do know there is an opening for it, you actually apply for it. Best believe your manager will have some iffy things to say about your work performance, just enough not to get the position. Number five, you get falsely blamed. Things can go wrong in a company or department which requires management to get chewed out, but best believe many of them are throwing you under the bus that don't belong there.

After the blame game is done behind doors, sometimes upper management will want to write up on some sort, but instead your immediate boss will say no need for the write up. I will sit them down and have a talk. Of course that will never happen either. So if you ever wonder why you get inside eye by some management at work, well this could be it.

Number six, still your ideas. If management is smart enough to hire people that can help them look better or smarter, they will hire them and keep them by their side for ideas and know how. This is where your boss will start having a conversation about a process or direction at work, with you to hear what you got to say. In down the line he will rehash it out to another version in a meeting or to his boss for the win.

I will also have a tutorial on that as well. I will leave a thumbnail at the end or link down below in the description. Number seven, we'll hold you back. Just like number four regarding job openings at your workplace, it is solely up to you to get up that corporate ladder and sometimes one way to do it is going around your boss.

If he knows your asset to the department, of course without ever telling you, they will try to do well you from escaping the clutches. You will have conversations with you like, you won't like that position or you won't be able to do that job. You always have to remember to network within your company so other people beside your boss can vouch for you when trying to go for another position at your workplace. Please keep in mind not all bosses managers are like that but best believe they're a bunch of them out there.

As soon as you notice them, as soon as you make better choices and money moves without them. Many things will take some time to check my tutorial out. All the links are in the description below. Please subscribe to our MSNR any 20 certification courses you may want to pick up.
