Basically you need to kill the enemies in front quickly so Charles will advance carrying him. So knowing where they are, and using Dead Eye to finish them with headshots is key. The timeline is tight so you must keep pushing forward and shooting all the time, don't stop to take cover. Other than that, try to get the 5 bow headshots you need in the earlier stealth section, but keep a count. As soon as you have the 5 you need, switch to better weapons.
