You will get three scripted games of Poker where you will lose the first hand, and win the next two. Therefore, if you have Gambler Challenge 9 completed when you start, you will finish the mission having won two hands of poker - you then only need one more immediately afterwards - so just sit down at a table on go all in. There's still some luck involved, but it doesn't require you being lucky three times on the bounce. As for the Gold, don't look at Strauss during the game, or you will fail, but you do not need his help as the cards are scripted anyway. The annoying bit is the very tight timeline at the end to escape the boat in under 5 seconds. Make your first kill, then jump over the bar and keep moving forward, shooting each bad guys who appears in the head, moving to the right, and run through the door as soon as you are prompted. There is very little margin for error, especially as you need headshots whilst doing it. On that note, make sure you get a headshot on the guy who opens the safe for you, as that will reduce your requirement to only 4 during the escape.
