In this tutorial, you’ll learn step-by-step how to add a stroke or outline to your text in CapCut Mobile. Adding a stroke helps your text stand out from the background — whether it’s a title, caption, or a stylish name tag. You’ll also learn how to customize the stroke color, adjust its width, and fine-tune the look for a polished, cinematic result. This simple trick can instantly make your videos look more professional and engaging! Steps to Add Stroke or Outline to Text in CapCut Mobile: Import and Select Your Clip: Open CapCut Mobile and load your video clip into the timeline. Tap on Text: On the bottom toolbar, tap on Text. Add New Text: Select Add Text and type the words you want to appear on your video — like your name, a quote, or a title. Position the Text: You can pinch, zoom, or drag to adjust the text’s position and size on the video. Go to the Styles Tab: Once your text is placed, tap on Styles in the bottom toolbar. This opens up all the design customization options. Open the Stroke Tab: Inside the Styles section, tap on Stroke. Choose Stroke Color: You’ll now see a color picker — select a color that makes your text pop against the background. For example, use white stroke for dark footage or black stroke for bright scenes. Adjust Stroke Width: Below the color picker, there’s a Width Slider. Drag it to the right for a thicker, more pronounced outline, or to the left for a cleaner, subtle border. Fine-Tune and Preview: Play your video to preview how the stroke looks in motion. You can go back and adjust the stroke color or width anytime until it matches your desired look. #capcut #capcuttutorial #capcutmobile
