Want to highlight a specific part of your video just like it’s being viewed through a magnifying glass? In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to add and adjust the Magnifying Glass Effect in CapCut Mobile. This cool motion effect lets you zoom in on an area of your clip while keeping the rest of the video normal — perfect for revealing small details, focusing on a subject, or adding a creative inspection-style look. We’ll also adjust the Color, Size, Intensity, Vertical, and Horizontal sliders to fine-tune the effect exactly how you want. Steps to Apply the Effect: Open CapCut and import the video you want to edit. Tap on the clip in the timeline to select it. From the bottom toolbar, tap Effects. Select Video Effects. Go to the Motion category. Scroll through or search for Magnifying Glass and tap on it to apply the effect. Once it’s added, you’ll see the effect layer appear above your clip on the timeline. Tap the effect layer again to open its Adjustment Options. You’ll see several sliders: Color: Changes the color of the magnifying border (the circle outline). Choose one that matches your video’s tone or stands out for emphasis. Size: Controls how large the magnified area appears on the screen. Slide right for a bigger magnified circle, or left to make it smaller. Intensity: Adjusts how much zoom is applied inside the magnified area. Increasing this makes the zoom effect stronger, creating a more dramatic magnification. Vertical: Moves the magnified circle up or down on the screen.
