Want to make your video look more realistic and cinematic? In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to add a natural handheld camera effect in CapCut Mobile. This effect gives your footage a subtle camera shake, making it feel like it was filmed with a real handheld camera instead of a tripod. It’s perfect for vlogs, cinematic edits, or action shots where you want a natural, dynamic feel. Steps to Apply the Effect: Import your video into CapCut and place it on the timeline. Tap on the video clip to select it. From the bottom toolbar, tap on Effects. Go to Video Effects. Scroll or swipe through the categories and tap on the Motion tab. Look for the Handheld Camera effect — you’ll recognize it by the subtle shaking preview. Tap on it to apply it to your video. Once applied, tap the effect layer again to open the adjustment options. Use the Speed slider to control how intense the motion is: A lower value gives a smoother, more natural camera shake. A higher value creates a more dramatic, action-style shake. Play the video to preview the effect and fine-tune the speed until it feels right for your scene. #capcut #capcuttutorial #capcutmobile
