In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to turn your video into a black and white sketch animation using CapCut Mobile. This effect gives your clips a hand-drawn pencil look — perfect for creating artistic edits, stylized scenes, or cinematic intros. You can easily adjust the Atmosphere slider to fine-tune how strong or subtle the sketch appears. Steps to Apply the Effect: Open CapCut Mobile and import your video into the timeline. Tap on the video clip to select it. From the bottom toolbar, tap on Effects. Choose Video Effects. Scroll or search for the Comics category. Select B & W Sketch from the list. Once applied, your video will instantly take on a pencil sketch, black-and-white look. Tap on the effect in the timeline to customize it. Adjust the Atmosphere slider — move it to the right to make the sketch lines bolder and darker, or move it to the left for a lighter, softer hand-drawn feel.
