In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create the Paranoid Psycho Effect in CapCut Mobile using the Psyche Echo effect under the Light tab. This effect adds a trippy, disoriented motion echo to your footage — perfect for horror edits, dream sequences, or intense cinematic moments. We’ll also fine-tune it using the Speed, Blur, Filter, and Intensity sliders to create that unsettling, psychological vibe. Steps to Apply the Effect: Open CapCut Mobile and import your video into the timeline. Tap on your clip to select it. From the bottom toolbar, tap on Effects. Choose Video Effects. Scroll to the Light tab. Search for and apply the Psyche Echo effect. You’ll instantly see a ghostly, overlapping motion echo that creates a disturbed, paranoid feeling. Tap on the effect again to open its adjustment sliders. Fine-tune the effect using the available controls: Speed – Adjusts how fast the echo movements occur. A higher speed makes the movement more chaotic, while a lower speed gives a slow, eerie drift. Blur – Controls the softness of the echo trails. Increasing blur gives a smoother ghost-like effect, while reducing it makes the double images sharper. Filter – Alters the color tone and mood of the effect. Use this to add a darker or more psychedelic tint. Intensity – Determines how strong or visible the echo effect appears. Turn it up for a heavy, paranoid feel or lower it for a subtle, cinematic distortion. #capcut #capcuttutorial #capcutmobile
