Short lecture on electron spin angular momentum. Electrons which travel at the same speed through an inhomogenous magnetic field will result in two different trajectories. This is explained by electrons having an intrinsic spin angular momentum of 1/2 hbar, which can either align itself towards or against the z-axis.
