Two functions, f(x) and g(x), are given, and the goal is to find their intersection point. The solution involves manipulating logarithmic equations, analyzing increasing and decreasing functions, and using the special condition q = p + 1. We show that x = 1 is the unique solution, then calculate the corresponding y-coordinate to determine the exact intersection point.
