Welcome to Week 7 Tutorial 9 of the course "Mathematics for Data Science I" by Profs. Neelesh Upadhye, Madhavan Mukund. The goal is to determine in which months a company should reduce production of a product, based on the difference between the product’s demand and production modeled as a fifth-degree polynomial. By finding the roots of the polynomial, graphing it, and interpreting the regions where the function is negative, we identify the intervals of time (within a year) when production should be reduced.
