We begin by defining the y intercept and x intercept and derive the slope intercept form y = mx + c from the point slope form. The session shows how to quickly write the equation of a line when slope and intercepts are known, with worked examples. Finally, we derive the intercept form of a line using the x and y intercepts, highlighting how these forms simplify straight line calculations.
