We then dive into the definition and properties of exponential functions and finally introduce the natural exponential function and its significance. We also learn how to test one-to-one functions using the vertical line test and horizontal line test, and why reversibility is an important feature of such functions. About IIT Madras' online Bachelor of Science programme IIT Madras offers four-year BS programmes that aim to provide quality education to all, irrespective of age, educational background, or location. The BS programme has multiple levels, which provide flexibility to students to exit at any of these levels.
