By analyzing the square root property, we observe that for each value of x, there are two possible values of y. This violates the definition of a function, which requires a unique output for every input. To reinforce this, we visualize the relation as a parabola and discuss the concepts of domain and range, helping learners clearly understand why this relation is not a function.
