Real-world systems are rarely perfectly linear. Enter the Extended Kalman Filter (EKF)! This video extends the Kalman filter's power to nonlinear systems using clever linear approximations. We'll use Taylor series expansions to linearize our models, allowing the EKF to track objects even when their motion is complex.
