In this example we work through a series of problems involving computing residual enthalpy and entropy using the SRK equation of state. In the first part isobutane is heated at constant pressure in a heat exchanger, and we compute the required heat. In the second part we compute the entropy generation. This is from Chapter 5: Calculation of Properties. A copy of my work is provided below:
